Video from Avalanche “captain’s” skate

If you were at Family Sports Center this morning, you had wide-open bleacher seats on which to witness members of the Colorado Avalanche doing lots of skating and other various drills.

Since most of you couldn’t make it, I’m guessing, your humble correspondent/video auteur shot some footage. On Friday, all Avalanche rookie prospects will be on hand here for a practice, followed by a flight to Anaheim for this weekend’s Rookie Showcase tournament (Colorado Hockey Now will be there). Veteran players will report Thursday for physicals, with regular training camp starting Friday. Full schedule and times are here.
