Morning Skate Diary
Avalanche lines for tonight’s game with Wild
I was a scratch for the morning skate today. Lower-body (back). Taking treatment, probable for tonight. On good days, my back is tolerably sore. On bad days, like today? Had trouble getting out of bed. Been really bad for the last week, but I gotta play through the pain. (Yes, I’m milking this for all it’s worth).
So, I’m listing the Avs lineup thanks to the information of my friend Rick Sadowski, who covered the Avs from 1995-2009 for the Rocky Mountain News and still writes on the team for NHL.com.
Per Rick:
#Avs Donskoi moving to second line with Jost and Kadri tonight vs #Wild while Burakovsky goes to third line with Nieto and Compher. No other changes.

That means the lines are as follows for tonight’s game with the 0-1-0 Minnesota Wild:
Landeskog-MacKinnon-Rantanen
Jost-Kadri-Donskoi
Nieto-Compher-Burakovsky
Calvert-Bellemare-Nichushkin
Above are the projected D pairs, as provided by @Avalanche
Here is a story from the Star Tribune in Minnesota about the Wild’s lineup.
As of now, still no deal on the Altitude mess.
