Avs practice notebook: A surprising twist regarding Ian Cole

Well, a bit of a shocker here today: Ian Cole has been cleared for contact and may return to the lineup at some point this week or early next.

This is a guy who was supposed to have been out until December after having surgery on both hips. Now, he’s back. I don’t think he’ll play Thursday against Boston, but we’ll see.
