Today’s was probably one of the shortest practices I’ve ever attended in my nearly 25 years of chronicling this Colorado Avalanche hockey club.

I got a couple of tweets from people this morning wondering if today would see the first “bag skate” of the season. The answer, it turned out: Not even close.
