Fresh video here of Mikko Rantanen, back on skates today. This is before the Avs’ practice here at Family Sports Center.

Also skating today, in a mask, with a regular jersey on: Nikita Zadorov. I told you the guy would be back sooner than later.

Also out there: Philipp Grubauer.

Avs gettin’ healthier, folks.

Here’s Mikko:

UPDATES:

ZADOROV: Two plates and screws surgically implanted into his jaw. BUT he may play later in the upcoming road trip.

BELLEMARE: Concussion. BUT, he will go on the road trip, and Jared Bednar said he’s feeling better. He is in the concussion “protocol” though. Bellemare will be on the trip, but he’s not going to be available against Winnipeg.

GRUBAUER: Practiced some, but left early. Bednar called that a positive, though, and he will go on the road trip. But he will not be available against Winnipeg. Pavel Francouz will start.

WILSON: Still out indefinitely.

LANDESKOG: Out indefinitely.

RANTANEN: Skated for first time today, as you see above. Getting stronger. Not going on road trip, though. I would guesstimate the earliest we’d see him is after the road trip.

Bednar said the team might call up another forward and D by tomorrow.
