Pavel Francouz continues to enjoy life in North America

Pavel Francouz

MONTREAL – Pavel Francouz has yet to see many of the NHL cities still on the Avalanche schedule. It’s been a season of firsts for him, including a first trip to Montreal as a pro player and the Czech Republic goalie took a souvenir from the Bell Centre Thursday night: Two points.

Francouz was excellent for the Avs, especially in the third period, in leading the Avs to a 3-2 victory over the Montreal Canadiens. Goals by Ryan Graves, Gabe Landeskog and Matt Calvert were enough support for Francouz, who got his sixth career victory.
