Cale Makar finally looked like he had returned to his norm following his injury sustained in Boston, finishing with a goal and assist in the Avalanche’s 7-3 rout of the St. Louis Blues.

But no one would have been able to tell that he was dealing with an illness, which he admitted to having after the game.

Makar explained the illness was the reason as to why his shifts were shorter. Even still, Makar sat only behind Ryan Graves in terms of ice time, at 20:14.
