As a huge Avs fan who lives in Colorado Springs, I’d like to comment on your discussion of the outdoor game at AF. Please remember that these are the “Colorado” Avalanche, not the “Denver” Avalanche. There are over half a million people living in the CS metro area. Within the city limits, CS is close to passing Denver. The marketing is heavy with commercials on our local TV and radio. Hey, I love the Springs.
Man, don’t know why you took it personally, not like he was ripping the Springs. Their comments about the whole situation were pretty fair. I also don’t think that it has been promoted very well in general. Maybe it is being better promoted in the southern part of the state, and that’s great, but other than that, there really hasn’t been a whole lot.
Hey AD, just got done listening to the pod on my way home from work. Another great podcast, and I personally love the fact that you guys talk about life instead of just doing hockey the entire podcast. Do have one thing, though. When talking about the trade deadline, you said that you would get back to talking about EJ, but you never did.
