Postgame Avs-Wild: Perfect Finish

Published

on

I don’t like to brag, but even I’m proud of my call, before this road trip started, that this would be a good one for the Colorado Avalanche. Starting out on the road after the all-star break – perfect, I thought. Because, right, we’ve all seen that this team is good on the road this season.

They pay better attention to detail and play together as a team. That was perfectly evident tonight in the Avs’ latest win, 3-2 over the Minnesota Wild at the Xcel Energy Center. Gabe Landeskog’s goal in the second period held up as the game-winning goal, as the Avs finished the five-game road trip 4-1-0.
