Avalanche-Rangers Game Review: Don’t let the show end

Published

on

The absolute thing I kept thinking all through overtime tonight was: “I might not be able to see Cale Makar play for a while, and man does that SUCK.”

Call me a homer or whatever, but I admit I just really like watching the kid play. I think he’s got a Norris Trophy – maybe many – coming soon in his career. The way he played tonight – three assists in a 3-2 Avalanche overtime victory over the New York Rangers – was just a pleasure to watch. He is soooo smart hockey IQ-wise, not to mention an incredibly skilled player.
