Lost Colorado Eagles season an obvious blow to Avs prospects and Loveland economy

It wasn’t a surprise, of course, but it was still tough news today, seeing the American Hockey League officially cancel anything to do with the remainder of the 2019-20 season.

The Colorado Eagles, the Avs’ AHL affiliate, thus will forever be frozen with a 34-18-3-1 record for 2019-20, just a shade out of first place in the Pacific Division behind the Tuscon Roadrunners. T.J. Tynan, with 47 points, finished as the team’s leading scorer.
