Nathan MacKinnon: “I feel great”, ready to rock for Avs

On a podcast hosted by fellow Nova Scotian Justin Belanger entitled “The High Button Podcast”, Avs star Nathan MacKinnon said “I feel great” physically, and about his team’s chances this upcoming season.

“It’s all about the Cup for me, and I think for guys on the team,” MacKinnon said on the podcast, which can be accessed by clicking here. “We feel good, man. I guess we’re the favorites, whatever, this season. I guess it’s a shortened year, if we ever get this thing going, but we’re excited. The big thing, though, is we need to focus on the process. We’re not going to win a Cup in January or in training camp. We need to take care of training camp, get better every day. It’s cliche, but it’s true; play well every night, grow, fix the things and hopefully head into the playoffs flying.”
