MacKinnon: “Our expectation is to win the Cup”

In this era of Zoom-only player interviews, I feel like it’s important that you all get to listen to them, to hear their voices, their inflections, their tones and use that imagination of yours to gauge things about them. So, here we go three full audio files of interviews done today with Avs players Nathan MacKinnon, Devon Toews and Pavel Francouz, and I’ll add some quotes for you to read and I’ll riff of them a bit.

No media (not even the team broadcasters) are allowed in to watch training camp this year, because of you know what. We will be allowed inside Ball Arena for home games, along with morning skates.

First up, MacKinnon, who has some VERY high expectations for this team this year:
