Avs lines, D pairs and goalie for Ducks tonight

ANAHEIM, Calif. – Here are your lines, D pairs and goaltender for tonight’s Avs game with the Anaheim Ducks. A 6 p.m. mountain start, don’t forget.

A win and the Avs get six out of eight points on this Southern California, and it’s a pretty good trip. A loss and it’s a split and that would be a disappointment. Big game from the Honda Center:

Landeskog-MacKinnon-Rantanen

Saad-Compher-Burakovsky

Calvert-Kadri-Nichushkin

Jost-Bellemare-Donskoi

D

Toews-Makar

Byram-Girard

Timmins-Pateryn

Philipp Grubauer

OK, so Andre Burakovsky is back in the lineup. Good news there. I thought he would miss one more game, but glad to put the reverse DaterJinx on that.

Interesting that J.T. Compher moves up a spot, to the second line. Jared Bednar said he’s been working hard the last couple of games and warranted the promotion. He did not have good things to say about the recent play of the Nazem Kadri-led line, saying it hasn’t been “managing the puck” well enough of late.

Ryan Graves also gets a seat tonight, and Bednar flat out said he hasn’t like his game so much this year.

“Seen some good things from him, seen some poor things from him. Trying to hold him to the same standard. Haven’t seen the same Gravy through training camp and the start like we saw last year,” Bednar said.
