Dennis Gilbert and Shawn Allard get in fight at Avs practice (but it wasn’t real)

Dennis Gilbert, acquired in the Brandon Saad trade this summer, was injured in a fight earlier this season in Las Vegas against Keegan Kolesar.

Gilbert remains out with facial injuries suffered (broken orbital bone I believe, or close to it) but he’s been at practice of late in a non-contact sweater.

Today, after the Avs’ optional practice was over, Gilbert and Avs skills coach Shawn Allard practiced some fighting techniques.
