Avs lineup for tonight in Arizona

Published

on

A brief post here, for the Avs lineup tonight in Arizona:

Landeskog-MacKinnon-Rantanen

Saad-Kadri-Burakovsky

Nichushkin-Jost-Donskoi

Calvert-Bellemare-Compher

D

The Masters

Toews-Makar

Girard-Graves

Byram-MacDonald

Grubauer in goal.

NOTEBOOK: Jared Bednar said Jonas Johansson may start tomorrow’s game against the Coyotes. I think it’ll come down to whether the Avs win tonight or not. A win, and I would bet heavily JoJo would start. A loss, and Bednar may feel more pressure to win, and go back to Grooby. … Another night where Logan O’Connor will be a healthy scratch. I understand the frustration among some fans that LOC isn’t playing and J.T. Compher is, but there’s still a dues-paying process to this game, and the Avs also looked pretty darn good the last game with J.T. in there. Patience is required.

Tonight’s game may tell us a lot about the character of this team. It is a tough call between O’Connor and Compher in my opinion. Nice position to be in.

Agreed. Are the Avs going to keep the foot on the gas or are they going to be content with what they did to Minny and let up. We shall see.

I think it’s between LOC and Bellmare, not JTC. Bellmare needs to sit. LOC and JTC both play. IMO

Count me among the LOC frustrated. Aside from some flashes of Jimothy Timothy – mostly a couple of seasons ago, JT doesn’t seem to add much. I hope he proves me wrong.

Another good thing about this game tonight – the Avs will be playing in front of a crowd cheering for them!

You’ve got to be kidding me. Compher has been invisible this entire season including tonight’s win against the Coyotes.
