Why I like Darcy Kuemper to win the Vezina

Look, I know some of you will worry about the DaterJinx with this column, but come on, it’s…not…real. OK, OK, it may or may not be true that the William H. Macy movie “The Cooler” was based on my life. I’m not sayin.’ I am just going to go ahead and predict it anyway: I think Darcy Kuemper will win the Vezina Trophy in the 2021-22 NHL season for the Colorado Avalanche.

I just believe Kuemper is going to have a terrific season. I think he’s been an underrated performer the last few years and now he’s going to be on a bigger stage, with a better team in front of him.
