Frei column: With Johnson and Johnson, Avalanche needs only one shot

OK, I admit it. I couldn’t resist.

I wrote that headline, referring to Avalanche veteran defensemen Erik Johnson & Jack Johnson.

And it’s a bit of a stretch here, since I’m going to be writing mostly about Erik, the more familiar face around here, especially in comparison to Jack, trying to make the Avalanche roster on a Pro Tryout and prolong his already nomadic NHL career.
