Avalanche lineup tonight vs. Dallas

The Avalanche play preseason Game No. 5 tonight at American Airlines Arena against the Dallas Stars, with only one more preseason game to go after this (Saturday at home against the Stars). Here is your Avs lineup:

Nice to see Martin Kaut back in the lineup, after missing a couple days with a leg injury. This is a big game for him, to make a good impression on Avs coaching staff. Of course, Jared Bednar will not be behind the bench tonight, because he just tested positive for Covid-19.

Jack Johnson is in the lineup for a fourth time in five games. He still has not officially been signed by the team. I thought it would happen by Tuesday, but it looks like that was WRONG. I still do believe he signs, however. But, it seems obvious that the Avs maybe want to see him a little more before inking a deal.

This is also a big game for a guy like Artem Anisimov. The NHL veteran is also in camp on a PTO, and hasn’t seemed to stand out too much. This could be his last chance.

There is NO TV again for this game. None. I’m not aware of the game being streamed anywhere either. Conor McGahey, here we come!

Here is the Stars lineup, according to the team’s website:
