Avs Lines and D Pairs against Detroit; Kadri out, Byram update

As I wrote last night, and was confirmed by coach Jared Bednar today, Nazem Kadri will be out day-to-day with a lower-body injury unrelated to the one that sidelined him for a game last week. That’s the bad news from the morning skate, but things obviously could have been worse.

J.T. Compher is back in the lineup, after missing a few weeks, and tentatively will slot in Kadri’s place on the second line.

Here are the tentative lines and D pairs for the Avs tonight against the 13-11-3 Detroit Red Wings:
