Avalanche Quarter-Mark Player Grades

Published

on

Six days and counting till the next time the Colorado Avalanche play a game. It seems like an eternity since I did the last set of player grades and it’s making me go crazy! So here it is. “Just a bit past the quarter-mark Avs season player grades”:

Nicolas Aube-Kubel: B– – Since being acquired from the Philadelphia Flyers, Aube-Kubel he has two goals and four assists. I don’t feel the point total matches his impact on the ice. He brings energy and consistency to the 3rd line and penalty kill. He’s a very solid and reliable player. Something of which you can never have enough.

Andre Burakovsky: B – Mr. Streaky was on fire as of late before the team was shut down. He had five goals and an assist in the last three games playing with Nathan MacKinnon and Mikko Rantanen. It would be great to see some consistency after the break, but he makes up for it when he’s on. Because, when he’s on, he’s ON.
