Bo Byram to resume practice Monday with Colorado Avalanche

We can report with confidence that Bo Byram will return to Colorado Avalanche practice on Monday, albeit in a non-contact jersey.
Byram, who has been listed out with a head injury since Dec. 1, has yet to skate with the team in more than a couple weeks. He has been at the rink of late, however, including today:

Byram was having a season that had him in the early Calder Trophy field, when he came out of a Dec. 1 game against Toronto, and has yet to play since.
“Bo is going to skate tomorrow (Monday) in a non-contact (jersey) with the team,” Avalanche coach Jared Bednar said after Sunday’s practice at Ball Arena. “It seems like he’s been doing better over this break, so if things go well, it’s a day to day thing. If things go well, we can start ramping him up.”
The Avs will practice again Monday after resuming activities today, from the league-wide pause. Bednar said he is confident the next game, scheduled for Wednesday against Dallas, will be played.
This is definitely good news. Given the news in your other article today I think we’re in about as good of shape as we can be in these circumstances. I do think this team is in a better position to handle more forward losses due to covid or injury as long as they can have 5 of their top 6 D on the ice.
If it really is concussion symptoms please do not hurry Byram.
