Ryan Murray in, Jack Johnson Out for Avalanche Tonight

The Colorado Avalanche will go with the same lineup tonight as Tuesday night against the Chicago Blackhawks, with one exception: Ryan Murray is in, and Jack Johnson is out.

Johnson, who came out of the game with Chicago early because of a lower-body injury, is “day-to-day”, said coach Jared Bednar, and will be replaced by the veteran Murray – who had been out several weeks with his own LBI.

“I feel good, ready to go again,” Murray said.

The Avs host the Winnipeg Jets, who are only three points behind the Avs in the Central Division standings (although the Avs have three games in hand). The Jets are a good hockey club, with a good goalie (Connor Hellebuyck), so this will be a very tough game I predict.

The Avs, by the way, are -230 favorites to beat the Jets at SuperBook Colorado.

Valeri Nichushkin remains out with an injury, but Bednar said it shouldn’t be too long before he returns.
