Looking deeper into the “Should Avs get a Fleury or Price?” question (+)

Starting Friday, the Avalanche will play the first of three games in four days, the first two against the Arizona Coyotes – who were victors over the Toronto Maple Leafs last night. For Avs goalie Darcy Kuemper, playing his former team will be “just another game.”

The Avs and Coyotes have nearly inverse records, so these should be four very gettable points for the Burgundy and Blue. And, an opportunity for Kemps to start showing better numbers again. If not, the murmurs, the undercurrent, that maybe Joe Sakic should look around for a Marc-Andre Fleury or a Carey Price are not going to be silenced.
