ONTARIO, Calif. – The absolutely positive thing about the weekend Bo Byram had here in the “Inland Empire” of Ontario and the surrounding California communities: He played two very physical American Hockey League games and emerged feeling healthy, ready to play more hockey moving forward. He’s going to have to play much better than he did here, to earn a spot back in the Colorado Avalanche’s top six defensive rotation, with the playoffs about a month away.
