Avalanche Treasure Hunt: Find Some Cool Stuff *First clues given out

OK, it’s time for another Colorado Hockey Now Avalanche Treasure Hunt.

I have five items, all pictured here, which I will hide around various spots in the metro area this afternoon.

Here again is the picture, with a brief description of them:

BERNIE STUFFED PILLOW – A kid would love it.

1996 DENVER POST STANLEY CUP SPECIAL SECTION – A real keepsake, in very good condition. I wrote a lot of what’s in it, but lots of other good stuff from the section that was published right after the Avs won their first Cup.

1996 STANLEY CUP PUCK – Original, from the time. Not a thing put out years later.

SIGNED COPY OF BOOK ON AVS – Hey, I wrote that too.

2001 CUP FINALS AVS-DEVILS SEMI-TRUCK – Still in the box! Never opened.

Here’s how you play: This is open to Colorado Hockey Now subscribers only. This is where I’m going to drop the paywall down, but first I’ll give any of you fence-sitters a chance to subscribe. I would estimate it’ll be another couple hours before I even hide the first item. It’s 2:18 on Friday as I type. I will even offer you fence-sitters $5 off to subscribe here, today. You’ll get 12 months of our Avs coverage, and the price will drop from $29.99 to $24.99 by adding in the promo code 5off in the checkout box right here.

This will give you time to subscribe if you want, then go out hunting.

I will hide each item, but leave a clue as to where it is. Sometimes it’s real easy to find, and sometimes I make it pretty tough.

Keep checking the site from this spot forward for the clues, and here comes the paywall:
