Morning Skate Diary
Nazem Kadri expected to play for Avs tonight in Seattle

On his weekly Altitude radio show this morning, Avs coach Jared Bednar said the “plan” is for Nazem Kadri to return to the lineup tonight against the Seattle Kraken at Climate Pledge Arena.
Bednar said he would double-check with the trainers, but it seems as if it’s all systems go for No. 91 again.
The morning skate hasn’t begun yet, as I type, so I’ll update things if Kadri is NOT going to play. But the possibility of that seems remote at this point.
Everything else is pretty much status quo, Bednar said. Gabe Landeskog will skate back in Denver, and Devon Toews will resume skating later in the week in Denver as well. The coach also said he hopes to get Ryan Murray into a game or two before the end of the regular season. There’s only six left, and the team is on the road for the next three, so time is running short for that.
Avs are whopping -350 favorites to beat the Kraken tonight at SuperBook Colorado, despite being short-handed still.
Pavel Francouz will start in net for the Avs.
Are our injured guys going to be ready for the physical demands of playoff hockey? Is there time for them to get back up to game-speed? Did we peak too early? Does our coach have his finger on the pulse well enough to rotate the roster for the best each and every night? Do we have that magical balance of skill and grit for a run at the cup?
Let the hand wringing begin…
Yes, Yes, No, Yes, Yes Just Believe!
So with Kadri in what are the expected lines?
