Colorado Avalanche
Projected Avs, Blues lines and D pairs for Game 2

Jared Bednar does not tip his hand anymore with the lineups, but it sounds like it’ll be the same lineup for Game 2 tonight as it was in Game 1. The fact that Andrew Cogliano was one of the two players made available to the media after the morning strongly suggests he’ll be back in the lineup, at least.
Bednar said every player on the roster remains available for Game 2. He also said “I liked our lineup” in Game 1, and the way they played. So, I would definitely believe that the same lineup will be out there tonight.
These would be the lines, therefore:
Nichushkin-MacKinnon-Rantanen
Landeskog-Kadri-Lehkonen
Burakovsky-Compher-Kubel
Cogliano-Sturm-Helm
D
Toews-Makar
Girard-Manson
Byram-E. Johnson
Kuemper
NOTEBOOK:ย Bednar said one reason when he has kept Nicolas Aube-Kubel in the lineup is “he’s gotten more patient with the puck” and “making better decisions” with it. “He’s not afraid to go the hard areas too, net-front. Lot of growth in his game.” … Avs are -245 favorites to win tonight, at SuperBook Colorado. … Bednar said Nathan MacKinnon has shown “huge improvement” in his faceoffs in the playoffs so far. … Some lineup changes for the Blues, it looks like:
Some changes:
Buchnevich-O'Reilly-Perron
Saad-Thomas-Kyrou
Schenn-Barbashev-Tarasenko
