Jared Bednar shook his head a lot, mostly in a downward trajectory. His team only lost by one goal tonight, but it might as well have been by a thousand the way the Colorado Avalanche coach talked about his team’s performance against the second-year Seattle Kraken organization.

“Sloppy. Poor execution. Really, the whole night,” Bednar said. “That’s why we didn’t get any shots. Tough to get shots when you can’t execute. But the decisions, execution…sloppy. We spent the whole night defending.”
