Happy Halloween! With some nice weather in the forecast. I plan to go trick or treating tonight with my little guy. Yours truly will be going as Chase from Paw Patrol. He has been enjoying the Halloween festivities this weekend and been on a constant sugar high since Friday night. Let’s  check in around the league and see what has been going on there. The Coyotes are learning about politics and more.

  • PHNX: The Arizona Coyotes may have to put their arena and entertainment district up to the voters.
  • Detroit Hockey Now: Captain Dylan Larkin is off to a hot start. He is a point per game player right now.
  • Things are a little tense for the Columbus Blue Jackets after a 7-1 loss to the New Jersey Devils. They are heading to Finland to meet the Avalanche this week.

  • Sportsnet: Seth Jones is expected to miss 3-4 weeks for the Chicago Blackhawks with a thumb injury.
  • Florida Hockey Now: With Aaron Ekblad out, other defensemen on the team have had to step up.
  • Pittsburgh Hockey Now: The Pittsburgh Penguins have had a rough road trip, losing four straight and possibly Jeff Carter as well.
  • Washington Hockey Now: T.J. Oshie is out indefinitely with an injury suffered against the Nashville Predators.
  • Calgary Hockey Now: Coach Darryl Sutter had a very interesting explanation for Jonathan Huberdeau’s disappearance in the 1st period of the Flames last game.
  • NHL: The Anaheim Ducks end a seven game slide as the Toronto Maple Leafs struggle.
