Eurolanche, the largest European Colorado Avalanche Fan club will be making the trip to Tampere, Finland. This will be their biggest “Eurolanche Raid” as they call it, bringing fans from all over Europe and the United States. Countries that will be sending their fans are Austria, Czechia, Finland, Hungary, Ireland, the Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, the United Kingdom and the United States. They will be sending a total of 70 fans to attend both games on Friday and Saturday, exceeding the amount of fans they sent to Sweden. Fans will be in Finland to celebrate with the group November 2nd-6th.

“After five years, Eurolanche once again brought together Colorado Avalanche fans from all over the world. Many who met in Sweden five years ago haven’t seen each other since, so this will be a great opportunity to catch up and reminisce, as well as experience new things in Finland, where most of us haven’t been before. The scale of Eurolanche Raid 2022 is a great case in point that no other team in the entire NHL has such a dedicated and organized group of fans with more than 15 years of history as the Colorado Avalanche,” said Eurolanche Founder and President David Puchovsky.

The Last Global Series games in Sweden, the group brought 56 members. They typically make an annual trip to Colorado to attend a few games and a couple on the road, but the last couple of years have been tough with the pandemic. This year they will make their thirteenth trip to Denver in late February through mid March attending seven home games and one away game. This group holds a special place in my heart as I was their Facebook administrator for the 2021-22 hockey season.

You can find them online on their website at Eurolanche.com, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. If you are interested in becoming a member of the Eurolanche, you can contact the group at eurolanche@eurolanche.com.
