Have you ever dreamed of being neighbors with a three-time Stanley Cup Champion? Maybe Sidney Crosby perhaps? Now is your chance, Nathan MacKinnon is selling his Nova Scotia home for the small price of $5.95 million Canadian. You take a virtual tour of the gorgeous lakefront property here, which includes a garage renovated to be made into a home gym.

I guess you could say this is a modest home for the paycheck that MacKinnon will soon start to receive at the beginning of next season. This house includes three bedrooms, four baths and one half bath. There is a pool out back for the warm Canadian summers. The home also has 2,000 square feet of patio space for the family and friends to hang out on. There is a built-in sauna in the gym as well as a putting green out back.

“Nestled on just over 2 acres of nature provided privacy this home boasts over 4500 square feet of elegance,” is how the realtor David Dunn describes the location of the Halifax home.

Superstreak Bonus!

There is no word if MacKinnon plans to keep a home in the area or just establish a main residence in Denver. Either way, the home is beautiful and has some great views of the lake. And, yeah, the neighbor is Sidney Crosby.

We had four stories today on the Avs, four yesterday. That not enough?

It is a very modest house. With his new contract, he will finally be able to buy something interesting.
