Bednar Meets With Alex Newhook (+)

Alex Newhook has three points in his first 14 games for the Colorado Avalanche this season. That’s not the kind of production Avalanche coach Jared Bednar wants to see for a player who has been given the chance to play in the top six much of the season, including as the second-line center.

So, Bednar had a one-on-one meeting with Newhook on Tuesday. No one was taking minutes of the meeting, but Bednar did reveal some of what was said.
