Dater’s Daily: Avalanche Reverse Retros Ship Out; Devils On A Tear

Avalanche retro

Yesterday we finally got a bit of snow in the metro area! The Avalanche held an optional practice yesterday with six players on the ice. Injured players like Kurtis MacDermid and Val Nichushkin were seen leaving the facility, so they’ve been around the team a bit still. It has only been a couple of weeks since Nichushkin has been out with his lower body injury, which was said to take about a month. I have seen him around the locker room and he seems to be in good spirits. Samuel Girard is starting to work his way back as well. Coach Bednar said that he skated on Sunday and he was seen skating alone yesterday before the main group. Bo Byram has not worked his way back to the ice as he is week-to-week still. Around the league, the New Jersey Devils are on a win streak and more!
