Dater’s Daily: Tkachuk Gets Gordie Howe Hat Trick

Brady Tkachuk

I can not wait until tonight to see how the the Avalanche take on the Bruins in Boston . Andreas Englund was recalled from the Colorado Eagles yesterday. I suspect that it is for Josh Manson, who did not play the third period in the Buffalo game at all. We have some sources saying that Martin Kaut is healthy again and caught a flight to Boston yesterday to join the team there. I just got word that Mikhail Maltsev will be out about two months after knee surgery. But on to the other news: Brady Tkachuk got himself a Gordie Howe hat trick, and more from around the league.

UPDATE: Manson out week to week, as Dater just reported.
