BOSTON – An appropriate place maybe, Philadelphia, for the next Avalanche game, because their injury list is starting to get as long as the list of signatures on the Declaration of Independence.



Artturi Lehkonen was the latest to join the list, now eight quality players deep. That’s more than a third of the team, out with injuries. Against the top points team in the league, the Boston Bruins, the Avalanche were no match. The Bruins’ job was made much easier in this game because of a raft of bad penalties the Avalanche took too.
