Makar and Ovechkin are both day to day, with the Avs playing the Caps Tuesday. Even if Makar plays, I’m sure we will see MacDermid playing to keep an eye on Wilson and his dirty play.

Evan, Vladislav Gavrikov has joined the list of possible trade acquisitions this year. He will be a UFA and has said he will test free agency if he is not traded. He is a defensive defenseman with a cap of $2.8 million. Unfortunately, if the Avs seek to bolster their lineup at the deadline, they may have to part with Sam Girard to fit a trade under the cap.
