I just wanted to start off by saying my first three weeks have been three of the five highest traffic weeks on the site this season. Thank you for the support. It’s only just beginning, and I appreciate the feedback from everyone. It will only get better from here.

Here are the three things we learned from the past week of Avalanche hockey, including the value of Valeri Nichushkin.

Cale Makar spoke after practice about where he’s at with his recovery, and Jared Bednar talked about his goalies.

Who cares about Boston. More Boston drivel here than Avalanche.

Thank you Evan for the links to the other teams. It is good to know what the other teams are dealing with and their thoughts on trades. Rumors have both the Avs and Bruins being interested in Horvat, so it makes sense to understand other perspectives on possible needs and how others see trades panning out.

The WashingtonHockeyNow article on Sonny Milano. He and Ryan Donato, who scored against the Avs in Seatlle, were both UFA’s this summer. I had thought that both of them, along with Evan Rodrigues, would be great additions to the Avs.
