NHL Trade tarasenko

Cale Makar will miss the rest of the Colorado Avalanche road trip after the headshot he took from Jeff Carter, and Vladimir Tarasenko was traded to the New York Rangers.

That, and the latest NHL news and NHL trade rumors in your Colorado Hockey Now Evan’s Daily.

Cale Makar was pronounced out for the rest of the road trip, at least, for the Avalanche.

I watched the Avalanche 2022 Stanley Cup film and while I enjoyed it, there was definitely room for improvement.

As far as actual hockey games, well, it didn’t go very well for the Avalanche on Thursday night in a rematch with Tampa Bay.

It was a subpar game in a lot of areas, but special teams let the Avalanche down big time.

Around the NHL

Pittsburgh: Rickard Rakell could have gone to unrestricted free agency. Instead, he stuck with the Penguins. Does he regret it?

Boston: With two Eastern Conference teams having made big trades already, when will the Bruins join in?

San Jose: Erik Karlsson has gone back to looking like himself this season.

New York Islanders: Anthony Beauvillier got revenge on his former team.

Vegas: The Golden Knights won big in Minnesota, but lost Logan Thompson in the process.

Washington: After years of searching, Dylan Strome has found a home.

Philadelphia: John Tortorella is not happy with Tony DeAngelo. Who could have seen this coming?

Detroit: The Red Wings helped the Avalanche out by beating Calgary, and Zadina finally got his first of the year.

Montreal: It would be very shocking if Sean Monahan was not traded in the next few weeks.
