Avalanche vs. Stars, Game 75: Lines, Starting Goalies & How to Watch

Avalanche Stars

The Colorado Avalanche struggled against playoff teams in March, but when the Dallas Stars come to town on Saturday, they’ll have a chance to start April on the right foot.

Against the Wild, Jared Bednar mentioned the team had some passengers for the “first period-plus.” That can’t happen against the Stars. However, don’t expect any lineup changes for the home team. Ben Meyers was recalled on Friday afternoon, but sent down after morning skate on Saturday. The emergency situation he was called up for apparently doesn’t exist anymore.

Alexandar Georgiev is expected to start in net for Colorado.

If the Stars take down the Avalanche in regulation, they will clinch a playoff spot. It will also make it much more difficult for the Avalanche to take a run at the division, given how the Wild have been playing.

The Stars played last night in Arizona and started Jake Oettinger, but they’ll be going right back to him for the big divisional matchup. He only faced 17 shots, so the team feels comfortable going back to him. In the win, Jason Robertson set the single-season franchise mark in points with 94.

This will be the final time these two teams play each other in the regular season.
