VIDEO: Lehkonen and Manson Working Back From Injury

Avalanche Manson Lehkonen

This post is mostly for any Colorado Avalanche fans who do not have twitter. If any of you follow me there, you’ve certainly seen these videos already. But good news, as Josh Manson and Artturi Lehkonen hit the ice before practice on Monday.

Before practice, Artturi Lehkonen was hard at work with Shawn Allard, working his way back from injury. As I mentioned yesterday, he started skating with a stick on Saturday, and is walking around without a brace on. That continued on Monday, as Lehkonen was put to work by Allard on some drills to get his hands working again. He’s getting closer and closer, it would appear.

He spent more time on the ice than Josh Manson, who came on a little later and mostly worked on his own. He would go for a skate, work on a few things, and then go back and talk to the trainer. I saw him shaking out his right leg, but no one knows for sure what the injury is. He still looks a ways off.

Neither of them stayed for the team practice.

Check out the video for yourself with those two. For anyone asking, I did not see Gabriel Landeskog on the ice today.
