NEWS: Gabriel Landeskog Will Miss 2023 NHL Playoffs

The writing was on the wall, but the Colorado Avalanche made it official on Thursday evening, as Gabriel Landeskog has been ruled out of the 2023 NHL playoffs by the team.

Landeskog, who had surgery on his knee prior to the playoffs last season, has not played a single game this year. He had another procedure done in October that was originally supposed to keep him out 12 weeks, but that timeline kept getting pushed back.

He returned to Denver in February, and began skating, but obviously, there has not been enough progress made, as he won’t come back this year.
