It’s the calm before the storm with the offseason for the Colorado Avalanche. With the playoffs still going on, there isn’t much in terms of news out there.

But even with that being the case, we took a look at Jonathan Drouin, and whether or not he’s a fit with Colorado. We also took a look at the trade assets the Avalanche have that could move this summer.

Here’s a look back at what you might have missed, as well as a look ahead at what’s coming at CHN this week.

Mikko Rantanen scored a ton of goals this year. Now, he’s dishing out the assists at the World Championships.

After another injury-plagued year, what is there to make of Pavel Francouz? Would moving on from him even help the team in any way?

Last year, everyone looked at Colorado to see what they could take into the next year. Now, Colorado has to look at the final four playoff teams to see what they could maybe learn for the 2023-24 season.

You could make an argument Nathan MacKinnon was the best player in the world after January 1 this year. We took a look back at a dominant year from the superstar.
