The Florida Panthers probably thought they’d know their opponent by now to battle for the Stanley Cup, but the Dallas Stars aren’t going down without a fight, forcing the NHL to push back the start date of the final.

For the Colorado Avalanche, we took a look at a darkhorse candidate to keep an eye on come training camp, as well as their struggles drafting outside of the top 10.

Colorado Hockey Now

Ondrej Pavel is not a household name right now, and honestly, he might never be, but from what I’ve been told, he’s a player to keep an eye on come training camp for the Colorado Avalanche. In addition, a tidbit on what I’ve heard about Nikolai Kovalenko’s timeline and the drafting struggles for Colorado.

On Sunday, look for a season in review for Mikko Rantanen, who shattered some franchise records in 2022-23.

NHL Playoffs

The Vegas Golden Knights had another chance to close out the Dallas Stars on Saturday night, but failed to do so at home. Dallas scored two late goals to win, sending the series back to Texas for Game Six. Now, the Stars will get their Captain back, even though he shouldn’t be returning so quickly, if you ask me.

Matthew Tkachuk joined the NBA on TNT crew to talk hockey prior to Game Six between the Heat and Celtics.
