Landeskog Avalanche

A report on NBA player Lonzo Ball‘s recovery from cartilage transplant surgery sparked conversation about Colorado Avalanche captain Gabriel Landeskog’s ability come back from the same surgery.

In addition, we started digging into the NHL Draft, with three profiles of potential Colorado picks in round one, as well as film rooms for Ondrej Pavel and Nikolai Kovalenko.

Here’s a look back at what you might have missed, as well as a look ahead at what’s coming to CHN this week.

Brad Hunt, the nicest guy in the NHL, is official a gold medal winner.

Ondrej Pavel is a darkhorse to make the team in October. Check out the film room to see why. (+)

A report on the Chicago Bulls being pessimistic about Lonzo Ball being able to play in the NBA again sparked concern for Avalanche fans, as Ball had the same surgery Gabriel Landeskog had last month. The reality is, every person is different, and with so little history with this surgery, we have to be patient and let everything play out.

Do you love Artturi Lehkonen? Then you’ll probably see a little bit of him in Nikolai Kovalenko when you check out these clips.

A number of former Avalanche players are being hired and considered for jobs around the league. Is Alex Tanguay next?

A small bit of business for the team, as they re-signed AHL defenseman Nate Clurman.
