Avalanche Pregame Notes
Avalanche Game 5 vs Anaheim Ducks, Lines, Notes, & How to Watch

The Colorado Avalanche (0-4-0) are set to host the Anaheim Ducks (2-1-0) and are looking to avoid starting the season 0-5 for the first time in team history. The game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. MT.
The Ducks have been sound defensively to start the season, allowing just seven goals in three games while scoring eight. However, with a younger and less experienced roster coming to town, Colorado has the chance to pounce and finally get in the winning column. In the final 25 minutes of Wednesday’s loss to Boston, the Avs started to build chemistry in their top six and those lines will remain the same against Anaheim.
Ross Colton is on the wing and playing on the first line with Nathan MacKinnon and Mikko Rantanen. Casey Mittelstadt will center Nikolai Kovalenko and Logan O’Connor on the second line.
