Ross Colton Exits Avalanche Game With Upper-Body Injury

Published

on

Ross Colton’s night in Utah ended early on Thursday.

The Avalanche’s leading scorer left the game with an injury and did not return. The team labeled it as an upper-body injury.

Colton scored the opening goal in the first period but missed the last few shifts in the second period in his usual spot on the top line. He was slashed on the hand in the second period but  the team did not have any further updates. I’m not entirely sure if his absence is precautionary or if he’ll miss time. But the Avs have two days off before returning to action Sunday at Ball Arena against the Ottawa Senators.

Colorado went on to defeat Utah 5-1.
