Avalanche Game 12 at Nashville Predators, Lines, Notes, & How to Watch

Published

on

The Colorado Avalanche (5-6-0) are on the road to take on the Nashville Predators (3-6-1) for the first of three meetings in six weeks. Puck drop is scheduled for 6 p.m. MT.

The Predators are struggling to find chemistry after adding Steven Stamkos, Jonathan Marchessault, and Brady Skjei over the offseason. Not only are they not scoring (24 goals in 10 games), but they’re also having trouble keeping the puck out of their net. Star goalie Juuse Saros is 2-5-1 with a .896 save percentage.

The Avs are coming off two consecutive 5-2 losses and continue to battle through injuries. They will remain without six of their top 10 forwards, as well as rookie forward Matt Stienburg, who was suspended for two games and then sent back down to the AHL. His suspension won’t begin until he’s called up again. But because of limited cap space, the Avs had to send him back. To replace him, Colorado called up Nikita Prishchepov. The 20-year-old was drafted No. 217 overall in the 2024 Entry Draft and is looking to become just the third player from this year’s draft to make his NHL debut.
