Gotta See It: Nathan MacKinnon Drops the Gloves With Barrett Hayton
The reigning Hart Trophy winner has never been one to shy away from a fight.
And for the first time in almost three years, Avalanche star center Nathan MacKinnon dropped the gloves, taking on Utah Hockey Club’s Barrett Hayton in what was a quick fight. MacKinnon, who leads the NHL in points, was assessed a five-minute major for fighting.
MacKinnon has nine fighting majors in his career, four of which have come against a player for the Arizona Coyotes/Utah.
