Deen’s Daily: Latest Rantanen Report; Malkin’s Stanley Cup Rings Stolen; Heineman Hit By Car

Colorado Hockey Now

The Avalanche completed a third-period comeback against the Rangers. But it seems like both teams went home unhappy with how the game unfolded.

TVA’s Renaud Lavoie believes the Avalanche are going to trade Rantanen if they don’t come to terms on a contract extension. I don’t buy it. Read my full thoughts here.

Montreal Hockey Now: Young Habs forward Emil Heineman was hit by a car while walking in Utah. His injuries aren’t serious, but he’ll still miss 3-4 weeks. Glad to hear he’s okay.

New Jersey Hockey Now: Tempers flare in a game between the Panthers and Devils that ended in a shootout.

Detroit Hockey Now: The Red Wings’ seven-game winning streak came to an end at the hands of Alexandar Georgiev and the San Jose Sharks. Head coach Todd McLellan called out one defenseman in particular for having a brutal performance.

San Jose Hockey Now: One of San Jose’s young forwards put up three points in the big win at Little Caesars Arena.
